The brass hat badge is that of the ROYAL ENGINEERS in a scroll under a laurel leaf garland enclosing the Royal Cypher of "G.R." surrounded by a belt embossed "HONI SOIT QUI MALYN PENSE", translating from Latin to English as; "Evil to him who evil thinks", and beneath a "Kings Crown" to top.

Original cloth covered visor cap, chinstrap secured by correct general service buttons. Offered in nice original condition but showing issue and storage wear.
