Original Item: Only One Available. This is a very nice Panzer Other Ranks/NCO's visor cap, marked on the top with an eagle over Feinstes Fabrikat, which translates directly to "Finest Brand." We unfortunately have not been able to identify the location and nature of this manufacturer.

This peak visor cap is constructed of fine, light field-grey doeskin wool, with pink piping and a darker green cap band. The cap retains the aluminum eagle with swas, aluminum oak leaves with silvered cockade, and black, patent-leather chinstrap. It does have some age to the insignia, but it is perfectly in line with the age of the cap, which was definitely used in service.

The cap is lined with light tan silk, and shows some sweat stains, with a plastic diamond on top, which has not deteriorated at all. The light brown leather sweatband is in great shape, and most importantly has the owners name on cloth label underneath it, mostly in black letter (textura) typeface:

We have not been able to identify this regiment, so we leave this as an excellent research opportunity.

Condition report: This Panzer peak visor cap is in very good used condition. The exterior is almost free from moth or damage (a few minor nips). The doeskin wool crown still retains a great color and shape. The pink piping is clean and fresh. The badge insignia is in great shape, with typical age patina to the silvered cockade. The lining to the peak visor cap shows some use and staining, and the celluloid diamond is intact, free from splits. The leather visor is in good shape, though the stitching holding it in is very delicate.
